The MCW 502 Mobile Computer Workstation is designed for use with two operators.
Rotating writing surface adjusts 10.0" vertically.
The Softview monitor arm rotates and adjusts vertically from 55.0" to 65.0".
The pull out Softview keyboard and swivel platform can be raised or lowered up to 10" allowing the operator to achieve sustainable neutral postures and at the same time encourages safe postures for the neck, shoulders and back.
Adjustable shelves are included which can be used for books, supplies, etc.

This workstation comes equipped with two straight wheels and two swivel wheels with brakes to insure stability. The cabinet doors have been designed to swing 270° out of the users way. This feature takes up less space and reduces the possibility of obstructing other equipment moving within the same vicinity.

The MCW 502 is a self contained mobile computing workstation allowing the end user to perform a multitude of tasks. It is designed to house all the equipment necessary to perform daily routines while providing a Neutral Reach Zone.

Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI's) such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome are the fastest growing category of workplace injuries and account for 60 percent of all workplace illnesses. The key to RSI protection of the hands and wrists is to maintain low risk arm and wrist postures throughout the day. The MCW 502's SoftView keyboard and mouse can be raised or lowered up to 10 inches allowing the operator to achieve sustainable neutral postures, and at the same time, encourages safe postures for the neck, shoulders and back.

The keyboard and mouse platforms are made of a new ultra strong composite and are super thin (.25"). Their light weight makes angle and height adjustments a snap, not a chore. The platforms can be set with a negative slope which assures that the wrists maintain a safe, neutral angle.

The MCW 502 offers complete monitor adjustability. The SoftView Air-Float monitor arm incorporates a pneumatic lift allowing the monitor to float from between 55" to 65" (10" up or down) so the user can keep the top line of the display in line with their eyes. Positioning of even the largest monitors can be made with a mere push or pull of the fingertips.

We've configured the MCW 502 so it will house a variety of equipment. It measures 50" (W) x 31" (H) x 46" (D). Power to the workstation is controlled through a single switch that is conveniently located within the operators reach.

Louvered air vents are strategically positioned to allow sufficient air flow for cooling of computer equipment. As an option, the unit(s) can be ordered with a COMAIR Whisper Quiet Fan for maximum cooling in hot or humid environments.
